A commuter with comfort built into the journey
The Aventon Level 3 step-through is equipped for regular journeys where comfort and practical carrying capacity both count. It combines front suspension and a suspension seatpost with a removable 733 Wh battery, rear-hub assistance and an eight-speed drivetrain. Included mudguards, a rear rack and lighting give it a more complete commuting setup than an unaccessorised leisure bike.
Comfort at both ends of the riding position
An 80 mm suspension fork helps absorb changes in the road surface before they reach the handlebar. The 50 mm suspension seatpost adds cushioning beneath the saddle. Wide 27.5-inch tyres complete that comfort-focused setup, while a low frame opening makes repeated stops and getting back on the bike more straightforward.
Power that works with your effort
The 250 W Australian-spec motor sits in the rear hub and uses torque-sensing pedal assistance. Shimano eight-speed gearing lets you select a comfortable cadence before adjusting assistance. Those two controls serve different purposes: the gears change mechanical leverage, while the motor adds support to the effort you put through the pedals.
Charge, tune and keep track
The removable battery makes charging possible away from the whole bike. A BC280 display presents ride information and assistance controls, with Ride Tune customisation among the listed functions. ACU connectivity adds GPS and 4G-linked features; app setup, coverage and the service plan affect which connected functions are available on a particular ride.
Ready for routine journeys
The supplied rear rack has a listed 27.2 kg carrying limit, and mudguards help keep road spray away from you and your load. Integrated lights and a kickstand are also included. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors provide braking at both wheels, useful when the daily route includes frequent stops.
