An electric hardtail with room for varied terrain
The 2026 CUBE Reaction Hybrid Performance 600 combines Bosch mid-drive support with a hardtail aluminium frame and trail-oriented contact points. The integrated 600 Wh battery keeps the layout clean, while broad Schwalbe tyres and a suspension fork provide the foundation for mixed-surface riding. It is a different proposition from a fully equipped city bike, with a focus on the frame, wheels and drivetrain.
A frame built around active handling
The Aluminium Superlite frame uses CUBE's Agile Ride Geometry, internal cable routing and a Boost rear axle layout. A rigid rear triangle distinguishes it from a full-suspension bike. Mounting points offer scope for compatible accessories, but they should not be mistaken for a promise that a rack, mudguards and lights are included.
Suspension matched to wheel size
The Suntour XCM34 fork is listed with 120 mm travel on the larger-wheel setup and 100 mm on the 27.5-inch version. Wheel size changes with frame size, so the correct fork and tyre combination should follow the chosen bike. Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres provide a broad 2.6-inch profile for the intended mixed terrain.
Assistance alongside nine useful gears
The Bosch Performance Line motor offers up to 75 Nm of torque and works with a 600 Wh PowerTube battery. Shimano Cues nine-speed gearing spans an 11-46T cassette, with a 38T front chainring. Choosing a suitable lower gear on a climb helps you work with the mid-drive rather than simply increasing assistance in a high gear.
Braking and component detail
Shimano MT200 hydraulic discs use 180 mm rotors at both wheels. ACID Pro 30 tubeless-ready rims, trail handlebars and the Sequence 160 saddle complete the core setup. Tyre pressure, fork adjustment and rider fit all contribute to control; a tubeless-ready wheelset still needs the appropriate tyres, valves and sealant for a tubeless conversion.

Choosing your setup
The listed finish is indigo blue and reflex. Confirm wheel size and fork travel for the selected frame instead of assuming every size uses 29-inch wheels. Weight is listed at approximately 24.8 kg and varies with build. We will confirm final size, components and any accessories before payment; this is a hardtail rather than a full-suspension model.
