A mid-drive hybrid with practical touring equipment
The DiroDi Nova uses a Bafang M420 mid-drive motor within a conventional step-over hybrid layout. Front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and nine-speed Shimano gearing combine with a removable frame battery for regular riding. Mudguards, a rear rack and integrated lighting give it a practical starting point for commuting and leisure routes, with a flatter handlebar position than an upright cruiser.
Mid-drive support through the transmission
The Bafang M420 is rated at 250 W with 80 Nm of listed torque. Because it drives through the bicycle's transmission, choosing an appropriate gear matters when the gradient changes. Torque sensing connects assistance to pedal input, and the model is listed without a throttle, keeping the electric support centred on pedalling.
A removable frame battery
The 36 V, 12.8 Ah battery provides 460.8 Wh of capacity and can be removed for charging. The listed charger is a 42 V, 2 A unit. Battery capacity is useful when comparing bikes, but the distance achieved on one charge changes with assistance, rider contribution, elevation and the weight being carried.
Comfort and predictable controls
The Suntour XCM30 fork offers 100 mm of travel, while Schwalbe Big Ben Plus tyres provide a broad 700c contact patch. A gel saddle and adjustable cockpit angle help with fit. Tektro hydraulic discs and 180 mm rotors supply braking, and Shimano Altus nine-speed components provide mechanical choices for your preferred cadence.
Equipped for routine use
The listed accessories include mudguards, a rear carrier, front and rear lighting, a bell and a wheel lock. Those details support everyday journeys without needing to build a touring setup from an unaccessorised frame. The step-over frame and relatively high standover dimension should still be considered carefully when checking fit and comfortable stopping.

Use reach and standover clearance as well as saddle height when assessing the Nova's step-over frame. The listed weight is approximately 26 kg and changes with final equipment. We will confirm frame fit, colour and the supplied configuration before payment. A basket is optional and should be checked separately if carrying requirements are part of your plans.
