Compact fat-tyre character with useful carrying space

The DiroDi Rover Gen 6 has a distinctive long-seat layout, compact 20-inch wheels and broad four-inch tyres. This listing follows the existing Standard, step-through, 250 W configuration. It uses a rigid front fork and a 960 Wh battery, so it should not be confused with the Plus trim's suspension fork or the different battery systems fitted to higher-power options.

Know the Standard configuration

The Standard trim has no suspension fork; tyre volume is the main source of cushioning at the wheels. The low frame opening makes mounting more accessible, while the long seat and upright handlebar create a different riding position from a conventional trekking bike. The fixed seat height makes checking fit particularly important before choosing this style of bicycle.

Battery and assisted drive

The 250 W version uses a 48 V, 20 Ah battery, giving 960 Wh of listed capacity. The Shengyi rear-hub motor is rated at 60 Nm for this configuration. The battery is removable, and its large energy capacity should be considered alongside the route and load rather than treated as a guaranteed distance between charges.

Fat tyres, gearing and brakes

Vee Huntsman 20 x 4-inch tyres give the bike its substantial footprint. Shimano Tourney seven-speed gearing works with a 48T front chainring and a 14-34T rear gear range. Tektro hydraulic brakes and 180 mm rotors provide braking control, complementing the compact wheels and more substantial frame layout.

Carrying and everyday equipment

The model includes integrated lighting, mudguards and a rear carrying arrangement with a crate listed in the Gen 6 equipment. The long saddle does not remove the need to check passenger and loading requirements. Rack limits, total bicycle load and the suitability of any passenger equipment must all be considered separately for the intended setup.
