A straightforward city bike with a natural pedal response
The NCM C5 is a single-speed electric city bike for riders who value a relatively simple mechanical setup. Its aluminium frame carries a 432 Wh battery and a 250 W Das-Kit rear-hub motor, with a torque sensor to relate assistance to your pedalling effort. At a listed 18 kg including the battery, it takes a different approach from heavier suspension-equipped trekking bikes.
One gear, fewer controls
A 46-tooth crank and 16-tooth rear sprocket form the single-speed drivetrain. You do not have a derailleur or a bank of gear changes to manage in traffic. The trade-off is a fixed mechanical ratio, so the gradients on your regular route are worth considering alongside the help provided by the motor.
Torque-sensing rear-hub assistance
The Das-Kit X2 motor is rated at 250 W and works with a 36 V electrical system. Torque sensing responds to the force you apply at the pedals, helping connect assistance to rider input. The E2 display provides the system interface, while the battery can be removed from the bike for charging.
A clean city-oriented build
The 6061 aluminium frame and listed ZF fork keep the front of the bike mechanically simple. CST C1808 tyres and a Selle Royal saddle support the urban focus. Dual-pivot caliper brakes are used here, which is an important distinction from the disc-brake systems fitted to many other e-bikes in the collection.
Everyday electrical equipment
The specification lists a 40 lux front light and a rear light, alongside the Das-Kit controller and 3 A charger. Having those components identified makes it easier to understand the supplied package and plan maintenance. The battery's 432 Wh capacity describes stored energy; it does not guarantee a particular distance on every ride.

Choosing your setup
Choose frame fit carefully, particularly if you want to keep the city-bike handling manageable when starting and stopping. The manufacturer's 125 kg total limit includes the bicycle and rider; it is not a rider-only figure. Confirm any luggage against that total. We will check the available frame size, colour and final supplied configuration before payment.
