A moped-style electric bike with wide tyres and dual suspension
The Ridstar Q20 combines a long bench-style saddle with 20-inch fat tyres, front and rear suspension and a removable 48 V battery. Its distinctive frame puts a relaxed riding position at the centre of the design.
Motor and battery configuration
The listed Q20 configuration uses a brushless electric drive and a removable 48 V / 20 Ah battery, giving a nominal 960 Wh of stored energy. Battery capacity describes the electrical pack; it is not a promise of a particular distance on every charge. Load, gradients, tyre pressure and assistance settings all affect consumption.
Suspension and tyre support
A suspension fork and rear shock work alongside 20 x 4-inch tyres. The broad tyre profile is designed for a different feel from a narrow city-bike tyre, with pressure and surface conditions having a substantial effect on steering and rolling resistance. The suspension adds movement at both ends of the frame.
Gears and braking equipment
Seven-speed Shimano mechanical shifting provides a choice of pedalling ratios, while hydraulic disc brakes are fitted at the front and rear. Choosing a gear that suits the terrain helps keep pedalling controlled when electric assistance changes. The drivetrain and brakes need the same inspection and adjustment as the rest of the bicycle.
Display and everyday equipment
The LCD places speed, battery and distance information close to the handlebars. A headlight, rear light and mudguards form part of the listed equipment. The removable battery allows charging separately from the frame using the correct matched charger, with the charger and battery kept together as a compatible system.

Choosing your setup
Confirm the exact supplied revision, battery and charger before placing an order. Check saddle height, reach and the route to the storage area rather than judging fit from wheel size alone. This high-output configuration is not represented as an Australian road-approved pedelec.
